How It Works

Our finishing process

01
Pre-Construction

Scope Review

We walk through your drawings, specification sheets, and any existing Insiteflo design documents. Every finish item is confirmed — materials, quantities, lead times — before a single nail is driven.

1 to 3 days
02
Preparation

Surface Preparation

Good finishes start with great prep. Drywall taping, skim coating, patching, primer application, and subfloor levelling — done methodically so every finish layer goes on perfectly flat.

1 to 2 weeks depending on scope
03
Trade Sequencing

Coordinated Installation

Finishing trades work in a deliberate sequence — flooring before trim, trim before paint, cabinetry before hardware. We coordinate every trade so nothing has to be redone.

2 to 8 weeks depending on scope
04
Detail Work

Hardware & Details

Pulls, hinges, door stops, outlet covers, switch plates, weatherstripping. The last 5% of a project that takes 20% of the care. We do not rush the details — they are what you see every day.

05
Completion

Walkthrough & Handover

A full walkthrough with you before we consider anything done. A written deficiency list is resolved and the space is cleaned and handed over only when it meets the standard you expect.
